We just returned from 8 days in Bali with our son (15) and our daughter (18).  It was a challenge for me to hold off planning anything, but we did not book anything besides our flights, accommodation, and a driver.  Normally I have every day planned out so that we can see everything.  We decided we wanted a more relaxing trip this time.  It turned out to be very busy and tiring, but in a good way. Getting there We flew Virgin Airlines.  We chose Virgin because we have Gold status, and have spent the last few years using family pooling to maintain status and accumulate points.  I also had a 10% discount voucher and we booking during a triple point promotion.
